67th Annual Snow Ball

The WMHS Auxiliary wraps a $1M commitment to individuals battling opioid addiction

Since opening its doors in September 2020, UPMC Western Maryland's Center for Hope and Healing has provided a short-term, transitional respite to 839 patients dealing with substance misuse.

The faithful WMHS Auxiliary determined to support this center with a five-year pledge, supported through their annual fundraisers, the largest of which is the annual Snow Ball black-tie gala. This year marks the last Snow Ball pledged toward this million-dollar commitment, which will be fulfilled by May 2025. As always, the Auxiliary and the WMHS Foundation are very grateful for the generous hearts who have supported this vital facility.
